TomTom Maps?
I have TomTOm Navigator on my Navigo GPS.
The map is quite old being from sometime in 2008 and I'm wondering where I can get a newer version (free).
Anyone point me in the right direction?

AFAIK TT6 (the one that's winCE based) isn't being updated anymore, if you want new maps you need to buy a Tomtom unit with TT7 installed
or somehow install TT7.
I've stopped using it on my Navigo 'cos as you say, the maps are getting steadily more and more out of date. I use Garmin now on my Nokia
5800, even though the screen is smaller it runs soo much better and smoother with the advantage of instant map updates and traffic using 3G.

has lots of useful info on it.
Apparently you can download a new menu system from it for the navigo that includes TT7, Miomap and Igo (i think!) as well other apps and games
That was a while ago, I haven't looked recently, it may have updated.

TomTom 6 on mine may be the same as you have now but they do have a link for tomtom 7,if it doesnt come up google tomtom7 on navigo.

Just completley rebuilt my navigo to Core App 7.9 with latest maps no probs using this site:
