Google Earth - Historical images

Google earth, the app.
Not Google maps in a browser.

Anyway, fairly close to where I live, it goes all the way back to 1945 !

East Kilbride as we know it doesn't exist, nor does Blantyre or large lumps of Cambuslang or Halfway either.

Have a look, see how far back your own area goes.
It's nice to see your area before it got developed.

1945, they didnt even photo my estate it must have just been grass

The site of what is now Strathclyde park complete with loch. This is the original route of the river Clyde.
