Are the Nurburgring F1 circuit and the nordschleife run by the same people?
The impression I got when I was there the other week from reading the 'save the ring' flyers was that they were independent as the locals
wanted tourists to use the hotels and resturaunts in Nurburg and he surrounding area instead of the new facilities built by the race circuit.
If they are independent then there is no reason why the nordschleife cannot operate as normal if the F1 circuit closes as I'm sure it must be
profitable.
