I just but some down plastic ones in yesterday cover a couple of square metres It was a fiver per unit from B&Q Warehouse , I wasn't
that impressed with the toughness of the plastic but it was easy to cut to fit in with the angle between the edging and the slabs and there was
no instruction on what bottoming was required below it. Early days but it appears to stand up to vehicles running over it.
Last year I looked at the concrete honey comb units local authorities use in grassed overflow car parks but it was far too expensive --- I
can't remember the manufacturers name.

An interesting development I have seen, at a couple of premises I have visited, is epoxy bonded gravel, apparently
gravel is spread and rolled onto an epoxy bed, looks like the traditional gravel drive but is solid.
http://www.resindrives.co.uk/ bet it's not cheap

Yeah^^^^
When I go to Aberdare park road races I leave the car up by a guy who's drive is done like this, it looks stunning fair play.
I fancied the recycled bonded rubber that I saw in Blackgang Chine's pirate play park, you'd need to put sheets under a jack etc but
it's very comfortable, it would make an awesome patio, comes in bizarre colours too which are pretty cool.
