Malc's been very helpful to me and I haven't bought anything off him yet. Maybe that's the big idea.

Got my 05 R1 today.
Malc even offered to fit my sump baffle free of charge when he heard me talking about one on here.
Engine came in A1 condition.
I cannot recommend his service enough.

Tsk, that cynical business tactic of giving good service to encourage people to buy from you. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you

I'll go along with all this, got my engine a week ago, mint condition and well packaged. Mal is a top guy, can't recommend him enough.

Hmmm Looks like Mal understands the "good service" concept.
He will get more business by looking after his customers, being helpful, and generally doing a good job.
Word spreads about good traders and he will increase his customer base that way.
Good traders are hard comeby... too many people are out for a quick buck, and dont care about the repeat business, or their customers.
Go for it Mal... You are doing the right thing.
PS.. thanks for the advice on the bike throttle bodies. I am going to build the megasquirt first!!.
Then probably use a Rover EFI manifold to get it all running, then go Bike bits. ie get it all going a bit at a time.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
Geoff

As an impression of Mark(CaLviNx), that was crap!

Ditto for me too - picked up my R1 5JJ motor on Saturday, nice and clean, excellent service and a real nice guy into the bargain (and the best
'driveway' to his house as well!)

Likewise from me. Malc is without doubt the most reliable and genuine trader I have come across in the kit car world.
There are many fellow vendors who would do well to take a leaf out of his book. Going that step further time and again it seems only bolsters his
reputation, cheers mate.
