Converting Busa Caterham to road legal from race car.

Hi,
I wondered if any of you have personal experience of dealing with companies who could under take this work including obtaining a SVA pass?

you should be able to most of it yourself, and if it's already made it's fairly simple and just some paperwork and a test.

if you have any questions ask them here and I'm sure someone will be happy to help, and most likely live nearby!!

Where abouts are you DSL?

Sadly it almost certainly won't simply be a case of filling in the paperwork to SVA despite the fact that it's fully built. If its a racer its very unlikely to have been built with SVA in mind, so there will be numerous things that will be "wrong" about it in the eyes of the SVA man, such as the dash layout (no radiused edges, non conforming switches / guages etc), the seat / belt positioning, plus all the external stuff like non radiused edges in the suspension and other oddities of the SVA test like brake lines having sufficient supporting P clips.

cheers
Chris

sorry to say this but why? the roads these days don't deserve a race car and the race car doesn't deserve the roads, hick..
