Brake Pad Upgrade

I have standard Sierra disc brakes, with standard pads at the moment.

Looking for a cheap upgrade to the braking and was thinking some new pads might help.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

Mike

EBC GreenStuff used to be the mutts nuts, but apparently they changed the formula a year or two back and they aren't as good. Personally, i'd look for some old stock Asbestos pads (yes, i know about the health issues) as they cope with heat so much better.

Autojumbles or ebay...

If you have solid discs, then vented might be a cheaper option than you think..

I've just fitted a set of EBC Yellow stuff to my otherwise standard Sierra brakes, after a chat with the guys at EBC.

I've yet to drive it with them in though. As soon as I've bedded them in I'll let you know.
