Minding my own business yerterday evening and off out to see a mate in my Megablade which only landed in the shed on Tuesday after a very soggy drive
back from Huddersfield an old guy decided to pull across the road in front of me, i had no where to go.
The car was mint.
The police measured all my skid marks and although they were quite impressive they have confirmed my speed was between 46 and 49mph, so well within
the limit and totally the dopey all gits fault who just failed to see me.
I did get that horrible thought ' oh f..k' whats going to happen to my legs as i hit the caravan, and i hit it proper hard as you can see
from the photos it was hard enough to turn it over.
I want a replacement car asap and i guess as i am entitled to a like for like does anyone out there know where i might be able to hire a car from
whilst mine gets sorted? Dont want to miss out on the summer.
Lucky enough to escape with whip lash and sore shoulders inevitable i suppose!
I guess 1 good thing has come out of it One less caravan in the world
Drive carefully and watch out for low flying caravans!

Owch, feel for you mate.

Damn, luckily you didn't go through the caravan, otherwise everything comes straight at you without the windscreen.
Why didn't you get one in a bright colour so divets could see you coming! Glad your ok. Reassuring to see the car stood up well, handy having 4
points as well.
When you say the police measured your skid marks I presume the ones made by rubber on tarmac?!
Steve
Blimey ,bad luck mate.
Glad you're ok ish

Glad you are OK mate.
Totally gutted for you about the car though.
Sad day mate.
Hope its sorted soon, though I think you'll be waiting a while for everything to pan out as insurance drags it's heels.
I bet you could argue for a hire car of a similar spec/standard - but I doubt they could oblige due to rare nature. When my bike got knocked over in
the car park at work, I got a hire bike for a few weeks whilst the mess was sorted.
