And she loved it I even got her doing a bit of spannering before hand to get the straps properly adjusted. We were out for about 45mins, but she wants to go further next time.
my nephew want to come out in it but hes to small at the mo, took my grandad out instead and he loved it, trying to convince him to build one.
i said he could build it with a screen and car engine so its not quite as harsh but he said wouldn't want to fit a crappy car engine!

What's the situation re booster seats in Sevens?!?!? My neighbours 9 year old is dying to have a ride in the Locost but we're right next to a very busy policestation so I've got to be careful!!!
Wait until they start giving you the "hurry up".
I was out with Ben (8) in the passenger seat. All was quiet until we came to a caravan, then I get "come on Dad, put ya foot down" over the
intercom!
Ben,
DarrenW looked into the situation with booster seats. Only EU approved seats can be used, and you can't modify a seat to fit.
I have Triton's wizards hat seats with removable bases. Triton very kindly gave me a spare base, which is padded / foamed / covered in vinyl
exactly the same as the other pair, but with about 4" of polystyrene beneath the 1" of foam. I'm happy enough that that brings Ben up
to a reasonable level, it's made to measure and as it looks exactly the same as the other seat base a copper would have to be very keen to spot
it.
Mike
I bought one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250436738526
It's a block of expanded polystyrene with a removable washable cover. It almost fitted my Intatrim Voyager seats, so I hotwire cut a couple of
chamfers in it ti get it to fully sit back against the back. Yes I realise that it is no longer strictly type conformant, but the parts removed were
not structural, and it makes it all a nice snug fit.
dont have any problems with booster seats in the back of the vindicator family with it being a flat seat base with removable padding.
Eldest is tall enough not to need on so just has the padding and the younests booster fit no problem o the flat seat top.
I might just get one of those seats and modify with the hot wire!! Good plan...
The thing with my car, my daughter sits perfect in the seat so her head is missed by the wind going over the aeroscreen. if i put a booster seat in her head is in direct fire from the wind.
The important thing is how the seatbelts secure kids and the main reason for booster seats is to allow the diagonal strap to go over the shoulder rather than strangling them - from my understanding, its why the law about booster seats was brought in. At least this is one area where 4 point harnesses have a big advantage - got to be far better havent they.
Carnt keep my kids out of it
