Great stuff, although I think you need to invest a decent set of tyres,I think you found there limits a few times,or you could nick your brothers slicks when he's not looking, the new circuits looking even better, can't wait

Bloke in front had a massive moment in front of you at school before your spin. I nearly died (life saved due to North Wales Air Ambulance attending and not having to wait for a road trip) in a bike crash at school corner exactly a week before that film was made.

Gave up bikes, couldn't quite shake the bike bug, bought an MK Indy Bird

Fate maybe?????

Brilliant video, thanks for sharing! You are brutal with the accelerator!

What was in that red Golf? You didnt gain much on the straights, although you were all over him in braking and the corners, but he got away from the M3.

Yeah its suprising what you see on the track sometimes. There was a blue metro there aswell giving it all. The golf and metro had slicks on which make a hell of a difference.

greggors84 - 6/2/07 at 09:39 PM

Even with slicks on you were all over him on the corners!

Maybe it was the lack of traction from those tyres of yours that meant you didnt take him on the straight.

OX - 6/2/07 at 10:09 PM

hehe nice one rigs, hopefully you'll have some slicks for the next time we're up there and then its race on woohoo

ChrisGamlin - 10/2/07 at 02:23 PM

Let me know when you're next up there as I really need to try the new circuit when its up and running.

Still its bit of a shame they haven't been able to incorporate some of the best old corners into the new layout, particularly School and the Radar complex onto the back straight. Here's a couple of mine from a trackday there last March, sadly no sound and recorded on my mate's Archos with a bullet cam that kept misting up, much less traffic than the above vid though, and shows why Im sad that Radar has gone, nice little corner where you can throw it in nd let it slide nicely

This was a tad scary though, someone in a BaT Superlight having a little spin in front of me straight after School

OX - 13/2/07 at 10:32 PM

looks like you were going some on the first link chris but it stops after 41 seconds ,maybe its just me. the spin on the second link looks very sudden, what happened

Stu16v - 13/2/07 at 11:16 PM

Still braking as he turned by the look of it...

ChrisGamlin - 15/2/07 at 12:54 PM

The way it broke away so quickly I think he most likely locked the rears momentarily with engine braking, maybe still shifting as he turned in. Might just have been on the brakes too late but the unloaded inside wheel didnt lock so wouldnt normally expect the outside one to before that I wouldnt think?

Not sure what's up with the earlier film OX, works for me and I presume others too? Can upload the original again later if not.
