When do you 6 month'ers tax?

If you only tax your car for 6 months like I do when are you planning on taxing it? It's soooo nice outside!

Tax your car now and run out at the end of August. Wait a few weeks and tax untill the end of September.

Or buy 12 months and then cash it back in when you put your car away for the winter.

Personally, for the sake of £40, I tax mine for the whole year. You get the occasional very nice day in winter and the roads are emptier than the summer.

Buy 12 months now, if you only use six it's cheaper that buying a six month disc and if you want to stay on the road longer then you can

Just to cheer you up... I went out this morning to fill the car up ready for the East Anglia meet on Sunday.

Didn't have to dress up for Winter - ordinary kit only - absolutely glorious!

There - I know you feel better for knowing that...

I was just thinking the same thing.

I was planning April to Sept based on there being more nice days in Sept but the weather was soooo nice today I thought I might just get one at the weekend.

Then is pi55ed down all the way home from London.

Still think I'll get one next week though.
If I had a BEC and cheap tax Id definitely go 12 months.
