Ive had a tin of tyre weld in the boot of my striker for about 5 years now (just in case). question is does it have a shelf life?
would it still work if I needed it? should I replace it?, leave it as it is or just chuck it away and take my chances. thanks. m.
does the can have a 'best before' date on it?
i looked for date on can earlier but didnt think there was one, im going back in garage when Ive finished my brew so i'll have another look. m.
When my ZT went in for a service, they used to flog me new tins till I pointed out that the last time they gave me a tin, it was out of date by that
service!

How true this is I don't know, but I was told that if you give the can a shake every now and then to keep the gloop in it mixed, they last
indefinately. Hope this is true because thats all I have done with mine,

Just bought some yesterday I must have a look and see.
Has anyone ever used this stuff?? how big a mess does it make inside the tyre/rim and what to the tyre fitters say about it??
Depends on the brand. Some makes destroy the tyre but others can be washed out. If its the holts i think it washes out.
although, i suppose it depends on wether ur tyre fitter is interested in your money that much to go spend 10 minutes washing a tyre out.
once that stuff been used in a tyre its then scrap nobody is supposed to repair it. but oyu may find some backstreet place that will. i refuse to
