I bought my Indy last week, it was a veryyy spur of the moment buy! but if i was building one myself, this would be exactly how it would be! i just
dont have the space to do it myself!
as it was how i would built it myself, there isnt a huge amount i want to do, apart from sort this bit out....
so today i set about doing it!
iv made an aluminium sheet to cover the whole underside of the rear end, hopefully it will reduce turbulant air underneath, the diffuser part may do
something with downforce, or it may not, its more for looks than anything else
test fitted
I also wanted a little 'boot' to store bits and bobs i may need, so i fabricated a box to go in above the diff, tomorrow I'll make a
plate to cover the top of the rear end and fit the box under it with a lockable lid
i'll get pics of this tomorrow
i'll also be painting the diffuser gloss black and fixing it on properly
any suggestions of things i can have a play with/improve etc?
cheers
Good colour choice!! Nice car
very nice looking car..
looks like the mirrors have been fitted the wrong way round thou..
if you hit something they should fold in,
yours would only fold if you reverse into something

i will also be sorting those out tomorrow too!
Nice car, I saw this on Ebay last week. You're not that far from us, lets kick tyres sometime
Ah yes! Do you use yours for road use too or just track?
Im going to be looking into doing a few track days/not too serious races etc.
Nice car Matt, how hard was it to make the rear diffuser? I need to make one for my car soon
Diffuser complete
Fairly easy to make. Aslong as your capable of using tools and have a gear etc
very nice, i need to make myself one of these at some point as well, boot box this weekend for me though so i can hopefully get out in the car more with the missus and a picnic rather than just her or a picnic for one in the passenger foot well
Very very nice Matt! Do you have any dimensions for this?
