4Kam 2nd Test run
wheezy - 25/5/07 at 12:05 PM

I repositioned the mic and have lost the distortion.
2nd test run
The sound level is still very low and I had to run it through my editing software to increase it. Trying the mic on its own with the audio recorder the sound level is really good. It only seems to drop when you run it through the AV recorder.
As I will probably edit any footage anyway it should not be to much of a problem.

Nice position, and great sound.

sounds ok to me

It does sound good.
it is just a pain having to run it through the editing software and then render it just to increase the sound level. At least I dont get any interferance or distortion.

Some very nice roads in Dorset.

Take it easy Dave

The roads would be even better if it wasnt for the holiday makers
That doesnt include you Bob as you now have a second home in Dorset

I wish someone would tell that to everyone who comes up to the north norfolk coast too. B@stards even managed to double the house prices

Can you increase the volume in the setup menu, perhaps by adding some audio gain?
Also is the Mic a built in one or do you plug it in, if so maybe the setting is on line input instead of Mic input.
