Bike carbs

Hi guys
I have bought a set of gsxr 750 carbs for my fury. what is the best way to clean them ie strip and dunk in soapy water or strip and use small brush and carb cleaner? is there anything i should be aware off before i start?

Carb cleaner and compressed air if you have a compressor...

DO NOT do as I did and soak them in thinners... they were in the dustbin soon after as the thinners wrecked the insides of the carbs

wouldnt use soapy water either! carb cleaner is the good option. or diesel or petrol if you wanna keep it locost

I used some petrol / diesel mix a mate had left over from a tank drain. After external surfaces were clean i opened each one up in turn and cleaned with carb cleaner.

I found them easy to do. There is surprisingly little to bike carbs.
