I'm going I think!
Chris
Come Sunday Chris
Ah yes, sorry, didn't notice the Saturday part. Yes, I'm going Sunday, probably with Conrod
Chris
I'll be there, no idea which day yet though! Either saturday, or maybe sunday, that much I'm sure of!
I,m probably going on Sunday.
Is there a meating place or locost show area?
there will be an mk owners club area, all depends on the weather really
I do believe that myself, deckman and the donut will be in attendance on sunday for a jollie.
The GTS Tuning stand will form the official Locostbuilder.co.uk meeting place complete with biscuits (see poll in anything else) as well as the
offical list register (signing in book!).
Kind regards,
Darren
Sorry, forgot about the biscuits.
Probably saturday, in MK if weather OK.
saturday but dont tell the wife
I'm only going for the hobnobs and tea/coffee
I'm going sunday if i can get a lift
So wheres the meeting point sunday then ?
If the suns out MKOC area,if its not then Darrens hobnob emporuim say about midday.
Bob, is there a MK owners area for Saturday, looks like I'll be the only one.
Kevin
Yes there should be a MK area roped off and marked up,the organisers say ask at gate upon entry as the site plan has been a bit hit n miss this year
due to building work on the new hall.
Sadly i can now only make sunday
I will be going saturday
so it WILL rain !!!
good,so we will be nice and dry sunday
I think I will go on saturday, on the basis that I plan to get trashed saturday night and not wake up on sunday.
can someone give me some clues like exactly where this thing is and what the opening times are? I found some website that said it was in detling
(helpful) and would cost 8 quid.
Could just go to detling and follow the cobras though I suppose
i was looking for it the other day, bloody miles so i wont be there!
clockwise round the m25, off on the m20 thru maidstone, off this at jn7, north on a249. very near the m20 though, maybe a mile?
where is detling?
About halfway between Boxley and Thurnham.
Too far for me.
In case anyone else is going today but hasn't left yet.. see you there
oh by the way, this is how to recognise me.. I am a ninja.

i used to liv near maidstone, for anyone who is going, watch out for 50mph speed camera at the bottom of the detling hill just after coming off the m20.....
what was the show like? and are there any biscuits left at GTS?
Weather killed it today. Not one of the best. Few trade stands but just as many sweet/toys/cleaning products style stuff. Normally better as some club stands but if the weathers bad people don't drive their kits. OK for a day out but lack of big names means it will always be a bit 2nd division.
Oh well, I had a good time, good chat with darren (and bikkies, hobnobs no less!) and took many photos that I will upload.. later.
the show was not really a show!!
only a couple of manufactures, and a few bits and bobs stands
I doubt if their was more tha 100 kit cars there
steve
well im off to detling today, it looks like its gonna be a nice day so hopefully they'll be some more to look at.
Darren at GTS was busy on his stand today, plenty of biscuits on display
Bit dissapointed no MK's turned up when i was there
Nice busa turbo westy to look at, about the only bike engined seven type there!
Could'nt see any others?
Hardly worth the entrance fee really!!!
my mk was therethe rest as you say was a bit naff
Where abouts was you then?, i must of been around the whole place 3 times and not a MK in site
There was a old book locost chassis with a MK nose cone parked where the MKOC was suppose to be
jas-mine was next to that,we left at about 2-30 tho as we couldnt take any more
Well, I finally got there about 4. The 18mile walk from the car park to the hall in a force 10 gail practically killed me though! Got in free though
so can't complain.
Took me ages to find Darren's stand (Darren- you need a big banner!) but was most impressed with their car when I did- looked great.
Cheers for the biscuits Darren. Hope you got the car back safely on your specially adapted trailer! And thanks for the advice on how best to do my
scuttle etc.
Cheers,
James
James,
Thanks for your help Sunday with the loading etc, and yes that trailer is a bit of a rare beast.
Regards
Mark

my girlfriend suggested that as I'm in the Great Britain team for the kickboxing world championships at the beginning of July
Hey don't worry- it's her that you need to worry about. She got a silver medal in the European championships last year!
I reckon she was pretty close to winning too- what with it being a split decision by the judges (and one of her contact lenses got knocked out in the
first round so she was fighting most of it half blind!).
