RAF Cottesmore Track Day Saturday 29th October Open Pit Lane on the 3.5 mile circuit
A few of us from WSCC and here are booked in for this already, so thought i would post up on here see if anyone else fancied it? Would be good to get
as many sevens as we can.
I did this a few weeks ago in torrential rain and really enjoyed it should be even better in the dry, The track has a good mix of high and low speed
corners and a couple of decent straights to cool things down plus loads of run off as you would expect from an airfield circuit.
Run by Javelin trackdays full day open pit lane £119 "

Cheers Dave.

That looked like fun from the outside... wasn't me driving, was my lad Pete. To be honest, the slicks we had on were well worn 2 year olds! They aren't actually that much better than good R888s.
Bloody goood day though.
Sounds like you had a good day, get those video's posted up
Looked a good day, some cracking photos!
Some great pictures Andy, Enjoyed the day.....had more than my share of offs though sure Sean will post up his video of me going of at 80-90 mph in
a cloud of tyre smoke lol
Finally got to the source of my chronic oversteer at the end of the day, put my road wheels back on and drove like a different car!
Cheers Dave.

Yup that was me! was passing a fairly quick tintop down the straight and went into the fast right far to hot flat spotted the rear tyres
down to the canvas good job they were nearly dead anyway.
Had Chaz in the passenger seat was funny seeing him grabbing the rollbar in a panic, like that was going to make any difference
Hi Andy
same no footage of the chase as our memory was full 1 lap in Blxxdy anoying that as would have been good stuff,
still next time, also yep said to paul to get sorted for next year would be good fun,
see you at the next outing i hope poss not in the mnr if sold,
cheers sean
i will have some video of the loco r1 spin up this week,
A vid to be getting on with...
Pal in the red Caterham R400 chasing my son Pete, in my car.
R400 at Cottesmore
And, the view looking back from my car at the R400, same session as above.
Westy, looking back at R400
Great video's could see Jeff got caught out by that stray cone a couple of times.
Will have a look at mine in the week.
Another vid from me, it's me driving, chasing after mate Jeff's R400.
Westy v R400 take 2
And our last vid from the day, Pete driving, track just about dry.
