Don't make the mistake of just coming through in the afternoon for the competition runs. You'll sometimes see better stuff in practice when everyone is searching for grip levels.

For the uneducated like myself.... what is it? where is it? and what times?

It is a sprint. (round a track against the clock).
On Saturday it's a round of the Scottish sprint championship and on Sunday it's a round of the lowlands speed championship.

Its a small track in East Ayrshire in the village of Muirkirk. It's about 15 - 20 minutes from juction 12 of the M74.

on from around 9.30am(ish) each day until everybody has had 4 runs - could be 3pm could be 6pm
