Bro in law just came back from the forest, couldnt get in most places including hollands wood who said its a minimum 3 night stay.

He ended up the other side of lyndhurst at holmsey 600 pitch site, but no pub and a fair way from supplies.

Dan we can have a chat next sunday at Uxbridge show,se if we can make up a hit list of sites

I've cheched wwith the forestry commission, the three night rule is for prebooking pitches. so we should be ok for our turn up and hope approach.

Sorry Dan, I'd have loved to come. I'd already booked time off for the original date. Went down a few weeks ago to see sister, mentioned it to her so she organised party for one night. Too late to change when date changed!
Oh well, next year!
