It's the New year and i thought I'd try a diffrent location for the meeting, this should give us a few months before the weather warms up to find somewher closer to the city.

So, This tuesday the 9th Jan at 19:00-19:30 the meeting will be at the Evenlode public house at Eynsham on the A40. LINK TO MAP

Hopefully see many of you there. ATB Dan.

Doubt I will be able to make this one. Don't think my leg will be good enough to drive yet.

What have you done to it?

As for Tues - should be OK for that. Who is going to the Sunday lunch do? Looks likely to rain...

You get yourself on the mend Chris, we'll see you soon. As for Sunday I'm not allowed out to play been spend too much time on the car taking it apart.

Morning Martin,

Naa not really, I had a whole day off back at the beginning of December! Don't it make yer heart bleed?

Never mind, come February and things calm down a little bit work wise - time to start thinking about fitting engines 'n' stuff!!

See you Tuesday hopefully,

Mart

Cheffy - 9/1/07 at 07:23 AM

How was the new venue?

Any nice roads around there for when the sun stays out a bit longer! I have never been out that way.

scutter - 11/1/07 at 04:01 PM

The Evenlode was acceptable, No imaginative roads unless you head out towards Burford and Stow.

I would like to try a meet somewhere Sandford on Thames and Wheatley.

Any ideas? ATB Dan.

JUD - 11/1/07 at 06:43 PM

How about the George and Dragon at Long Hanbourough?

Check out http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/131003

Good car park and the landlord used to run the pub in my village. Always kept the beer well and the food was good.

Martin

That's sorted then for next month.

ATB Dan.

Cheffy - 13/1/07 at 08:50 PM

Hi Martin (Jud)

This would of course have absolutely nothing at all to do with the fact that you can get from your place to Long Hanborough via Enstone and Charlbury using nothing but nice twisty B roads I suppose

Mart.
