Is anyone going to the Knockhill event on the 12th August. I understand that it is free entry if you go in your kit car.
If anyone from around Aberdeen(shire) is going it would be good if we could go in convoy !!
Oooo, What event is this? Its most likely we will be there.
Mark - I feel a challenge coming on to see whats best BEC or CEC round the track
Daz
Sounds like an opportunity for a Scottish Locostbuilders big meet up, what do you think?
Caber
There is a motorsport club track night at knockhill on Tuesday evening if you fancied something sooner. 6pm to 8pm open pit lane with no neds and
people who respect others. £40 is all it is- i managed 70 odd laps at the one before last.
Be there at half 5 for breifing beforehand. Its run by the glenrothes motorsport club but is open to friends of members too.
And you've been warned Daz- bec wins every time!

I am led to believe that the scottish kit car club is trying to get atleast 80-100 cars there for a show. Apparently (been told third hand) TotalKit
car wille be there together with the scottish Sun.

SCOTTISH KIT CAR SHOW 2007
Dear Member,
As you are no doubt already aware Knockhill Racing Circuit have decided to resurrect the Scottish Kit Car Show in conjunction with ourselves in 2007
for at least the next three years. It will be held on Sunday August 12th and run in conjunction with the Scottish championship car racing. As I
understand it, the Sun and Total Kit Car are interested in profiling both the show and the Club in their relevant publications closer to the time.
Knockhill have been in touch with the Club with a view to having at least 80-100 cars present on the day (from ourselves and other kit car clubs).
Therefore I am writing to invite you to attend, along with your kit, what is shaping up to be a very good event. Knockhill have confirmed that if we
meet their request for 80-100 cars no charges will be applied to Club members who bring their car for display. You will therefore also get to watch
the days racing for free!
The Club in both the monthly newsletter and KitBits magazine will publish more information as it becomes available.
Totalkitcar and several kit car manufacturers have agreed in principle to support and attend this event providing more information is forthcoming. In
addition, other companies with an association to the kit car industry have agreed in principle to support the show.
If you would like passes to attend the Scottish Kit Car show 2007 please advise the Club Events committee or myself and we will add your name to the
list. These will be then be sent to you or picked up at meetings in due course.

Paul McCrindle (Events committee): 07738075967/ paul@autotune.fsnet.co.uk
Please help to make this new event a huge success by supporting the Scottish Kit Car Club and Knockhill Racing Circuit.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course and to seeing you at the show.
Is anyone is a member of the SKCC perhaps they can confirm details.

Hoping to have my kit finished and on the road by then.
This would be a nice run and also get the chance to see other local kits.
cheers
Jim

I take it that the normal £10/£12 knockhill entry fee will allow access to the kit car show?
Anyone got any more info on this yet, anyone planning to attend. I probably will (weather dependant)
I'll be going - dependant on weather
im going to go along im taking my son (3 years old) as he keeps asking what car it is im building so it will be good to show him some finished ones
