Well, at 254 pixels it is a little bit on the wide side, maybe 200 would be better

As far as the content is concerned, a bit posed, don't you think? and the black and white a bit passe too.

Ok.......well, I am taking a guess that Lee (Roadkill) is being ironic........

As much as his picture of 2 naked guys together, is distasteful to other guys, one has to understand that pictures/avatars of 2 99% naked girls together, is sick and distasteful to the majority of us.

The guy who has posted the females avatar, is obviously trying to convince/prove something, but don't quite know what

I have u2u'd the guy concerned, to remove it. He has not logged in as yet today, and as we all prefer this site to be as 'self-policing' as possible, please u2u the guy yourselves.

I will again remind people that this is not a 'blokes only' site, it has members from all walks of life, young and old, male and female, and not forgetting educational establishments that look to our site for references on how to build cars.

I amazed (not) at how quickly replies of distaste have appeared over a picture that isn't even an avatar. Whereas when one puts a new avatar up it appears on every post new and old that you have made, and yet, I cannot recall any replies of protest on forum, over the guy who posted the females avatar yesterday (apart from private u2u's)......

Double standards and hypocritical ??????

I have now made my point and shall remove the (IMO) offending pic.

I understand the sarcasm but don't quite get what point you were trying to make. Tootall still hasn't changed his avatar pic.

This post just means I'm even more likely to come across inappropriate pictures on a site that's supposed to be for people building cars, whilst my family are around.

Thats what i was thinking. Don't want the avatars to mean that i can only access this site at home and not at work, everyone should remember this is CAR forum.

I think it's a point well put

Although I did think the santa hats on the 99% naked women gave it a slightly ridiculous slant that made it almost okay from a ironic point of view- the

"ooh look our clothes have fallen off yet amazingly our santa hats have stayed on" look smacked of irony.... though I'm not sure it was originally meant that way....

It's a car forum after all....

Ok..... as I am NOT a 'super-admin' I cannot go in and remove peoples avatars....so I have to rely on either the poster/offender changing/removing, or getting hold of ChrisW to do the deed.

I left messages for ChrisW and he removed the 'offending' avatar. So thanks ChrisW for answering my SOS.

As I have said in other posts we are all up for a bit of Crimbo fun, but please keep it Work Safe, Home/Family Safe, Kid Safe, and be mindful that this IS a public Forum/Web-site.....that is global........and to all you newer members that have signed up since mid 2007, you DID agree to the T&C's before you finished your sign-up......

Thanks to you all for being patient whilst 'that' Avatar was being removed, I did get it done ASAP, and sincerely hope it didn't cause too much grief....
