Could just be the angle but your steering wheel looks quite low

A Mk1 Mini grill!!!!

It's baler wrap (the stuff that goes around big round bales! Keeps them clean and keeps the light off them.

The steering wheel is low - just where I want it as the seat will be very low (two pack foam in a bin bag!)

I can't remember fitting a Mini grill! :-)

is that a steel work platform that the car is on top of?
