I'm having trouble matching a tube size to a suitable bush..

I've been on the superflex site and have looked at their bushes which are 35.25mm OD but their housings say they are 1 1/8" ID which by my calcs works out as 44.2mm? which leaves me a bit confused.. I imagine they squash but not by that much..

I could buy their housings but I wanted to make a couple of sets of wishbones as I race.. does anyone have a combination I can use and does the housing need to be CDS?

I think most of the kit suppliers will sell you bushes and crush tubes with matching housings to weld your own wishbones. I bought some from Martin when he was doing the Indy. Housing doesn't need to be CDS, weld to the face where the join is if you want to be certain.

1 1/8" = 28.575mm....
