I was wondering what the weight of a bare unpainted chassis without any wishbones or anything else should be approximately. Any help appreciated.

My bare chassis without floor, but including all brackets was 48kg.
16 gauge steel floor added 30kg (a bit OTT but probably land mine proof!)

I could pick mine and move around on the build table until I dropped in the diff, so around 70lb I guess as awkward at this height.

Its not the weight but the balance that catches you out if you are shoving it around.

No problem on the roof of a car is this relates to your query.
