Which rod ends?
coozer - 16/4/14 at 01:28 PM

Where do you all get your suspension rod ends from?

Looked at NMB ones but do we really need to spend that much?

At the other end of the scale are the 'ultra high performance' ones we see on eBay actually any good?

Would like some where I can see the loads clearly...

Thanks
Steve

Thanks, done any miles, road or track on them? Any good, noises, wear etc?

ive done around 1000miles, and 3 trackdays running slicks, and they are still running great. They are much nicer than the cheapo ones originally supplied with my kit.

When i fitted all these new rod ends i fitted these boots over they with a thin film of grease to help protect them from the weather

i used the ones from Mcgill motorsport on my MNR and they where peachy creamy...
3 years of Sunday drives and numerous trackdays later and there's still no play in them.

I tried a couple of other suppliers before Mcgill and they never lasted,
1 batch where sloppy out the box and i was told "we use them on our grasstrack cars and they usually get brokenso it doesn't matter"

Really pleasant people to deal with at Mcgill motorsport aswell
