MY TIMER UNIT HAS SWITCH ON IT THAT ALOWS ME TO TRUN ON THE HOT WATER OR THE CENTREL HEATING BUT THE PUMP IS STILL GOING WHEN THE SWITCH IS IN THE HOT WATER POS i THINK MY UNIT IS WIRED UP WRONG.

Not sure what this has got to do with locost chassis but:

Pump can run at anytime boiler has pilot light lit as it needs to dump spare heat into the system somewhere. If it is a combi system the pump will often run after you have switched the hot tap off as there is residual heat in the boiler core that needs to be dumped.

That is the strangest post I've ever seen, maybe our forum entered some kind of Trexy space time continuoum thing and got mixed up with 'Plumbing World'.......

Not low-cost builders (or any other artisan trades) but Locost builders - ie builders of cars, called Locost.

After you sort out your pluming, have a look at yer caps lock key and yer spell checker.

i think id like to point out at this stage that my spelling isnt great, but my tendency to create typos is even worse!

And yes, my pump also runs at the same time as the flame is on.

I wouldnt mind betting this is a lister having a bit of a laff.

I know who I think it is............

No one would be as silly to post such a thing by accident on a car site with car realted categories under chassis.

Funs over, be real please.

There's nowt wrong with your wiring, the reason your pump runs when switched to hot water only,is because you probably have an indirect hot water cylinder,i.e the water in the cylinder is heated by the same pumped hot water as your radiators,a diverter valve sends it to the cylinder when you or a stat demand domestic hot water.

Can i go back to thinking about my LOCOST now?.

If you need any more advice i suggest you go here
