Narrow Steering Racks?
RebelGT - 6/7/05 at 07:16 PM

I'm looking for info for what might be a good option steering rack wise. I'm looking for a rack with a relatively small center section (the rack part) So that I can maintain a relatively low level of bump steer. I have an Ae86 rack now, but I think I might be able to do better then this. Any suggestions?

Stilletto (sp?) makes a very short one. Not sure where they're made... do a Google search.

ehhh the mini guy! I have your build diary bookmarked, I really respect what you're putting togethor.

Thanks for the help with the steering rack, I checked out the stiletto racks, they appear to only be center output only for the steering shaft. My fault, I need to specify it has to be left side ouput for the shaft to fit around the engine (not much room its a Turbo DOHC V6)

Smallest one I ever saw (here in the U.S.) was on an old Honda 600 sedan. Really short... ask the enthusiasts/owners for dimensions.
