bending my rollbar...

Ive drawn up plans for my rollbar's (front + rear) and got my length of steel... (48mm od, 3mm thick), now how the f*@#
am i ment to bend it, my mates a plumber and his pipe benders not big enough.
anyone know where i can find/ hire one??? i'm 25mins from nottingham, leicester and peterborough. (right in the middle)

What he said...

You'll need a hydraulic bender - you put your tubing across some formers, then pump away.

The only hard bit is working out where to place the tube so that the bend appears in the right place!

make sure you tell them it's for bending tube not pipe a hydralic one will crease the pipe and fold it in half. I bought a hydralic one from machine mart. great for anything over 6mm, shite for thin stuff the formers don't support the tube unless you pack it full of dry sand and plug the ends
