I have read somewhere that it would be better to weld MS for the seat back as opposed to ally and sure i read it here any one with any suggestions

search for posts by cymtriks, he's done some serious analysis on the stiffness of the chassis.

That, fully welding the transmission tube and ms footwell fully welded increase the stiffness of the chassis significantly.
