hello all

recently joined in hope for some chassis drawings of locost please. I have the build your own book for 250 but they use the live axle in that. I'm using the dion axle with sierra diff so would like a copy of the correct drawings please if anyone is generous enough to email me. My project is to partly use the locost chassis and drop my 105e ford anglia shell over top. someone please help me as I'm so keen to get started but running round in circles at moment.

my email is ps@ev88.wanadoo.co.uk

any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

all the best Paul

I'm very near Richmond north yorks.

so keen to build my car again but frustrated I can't get started.

I restored it some 8 years ago but set about pulling it apart to build a different project. it will be a 300zx tt 105e with a locost chassis in the end.

That's going to be a squeeze if you want a standard width locost!

If you are going to fit a car body on top I suspect you would be better off designing a chassis to the dimensions of the body.

yes you are quite right.

the chassis drawings are being largely used for ideas but the suspension geometry is being kept so that I know it will behave right and not crab up the road. my aim is to get the precise location of where to mount the suspension brackets of wishbones on front and the trailing arms (4 link & panhard rod for rear). because the anglia is so narrow to start off with the arches I'm fitting will be almost 4 inches out from the wing etc.
