seems like mild steel is rarer then gold dust here have been looking around all morning trying to fit some 1 inch box section but had no joy where is best place to get some on tinternet
Parker steel do most stuff. I got mine from a local welding firm I work with from time to time - they buy it in bulk so passed it on to me at a really good price - may be worth you paying a couple of places a visit

brilliant idea just gone on yell.com got loads straight away what is best use for bec engine cradle hot or cold forged steel

RHS used to be manufactured by rolling a flat strip and resistance welding the join. Cold formed is cleaner than hot rolled.
