driving to work this morning my pinto tunned was getting rather hot, going along at 60mph in 5th the gauge was reading 95degress, im now stuck at work, in my lunch brake should i remove the thermostat?

no, sounds fine to me. i would only get worried if it went over 110 and stayed there. At what point does your fan come on? i dont think it is anything to worry about

the fan hit in around 90, but it was getting close to 100 this morning and i was only reving around 2500-3000 and it was cold out so im wondering what it will be like if i start drving it hard, its has always stayed around 90 when driving it hard.

and its emptyed the header tank??

Im thinking head gasket im afraid

its started leaking on the corner of the radiator, i removed the thermostat and made a new gasket it seems to be running ok now, might try some rad weld or find a new rad, not sure what rad will fit.

Don't put Radweld in anything made in the last twenty years and don't use Barrs Leaks in anything.

Only leak sealer that is safe to use in modern engines is K-Seal

ohh ive put holtz rad weld, to get me home, im gonna get a new rad just have to figure out which one to get
