you convinced me to order the kit but what else do I need?
MikeFellows - 18/8/09 at 04:07 PM

After my recent thread on should I buy the engine or the kit and being told in no uncertain terms to buy the kit, i dont know what else i need.

So i plan to buy the following

MK Indy R Deluxe Kit
Rose Jointed Chassis
Fuel Tank
Fuel Tank Straps
Powder Coating

going through the list of additional parts im confused as to what else I should/Need to order at the same time.

can anyone tell me other than sierra parts what I should get at the same time?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

Sierra steering rack, front uprights, prop and streering down link (can't remeber correct name) all need modification by MK.. So you will probably want to sort this at the same time as kit collection if you are not down the road from MK..

all your suspension wishbones? front and rear uprights/hubs that way you can get to rolling chassis pretty quick

i should have checked up to see what the kit included

as said above, rack, and front uprights

taking the bits down to MK on saturday when i go and order the kit (im only 2 hours away, 1.5 if im silly), they said they would do all the mods while I wait and then i can get them all cleaned up while i wait for the kit.
