Indy Panel question
Jonte - 24/7/04 at 01:41 PM

Iīm about to put my panels on the Indy and have some questions about it.

First of all. Is there some particular order thatīs better then other when you put them on?
I was thinking about this order and fastening.

1. Sidepanels with glue and rivets
2. Rearpanel with glue and rivets
3. Nose cone (gonna do a flipfront)
4. Scuttle with rivnuts
5. Bonnet

How have you all done where the sidepanels meet the rearpanel?
Should they overlap or trim so they just meet?
See photo

Any other tips about this?

That is the order I used, I trimmed my panels on a vertical line so that they just met. the join is mainly hidden by the rear wings. You will probably want to round off the corner of the side panel to get it to meet the rear panel where the profiles don't match.

Hi, my solution is to cut the side panel down in front of the roll bar and horizontally towards the back panel, about 1/2" down ,blends in fine.
If you're not sure I'll try and post a pic ...
