Wishing you the best of luck Danny.
I'd be there like a shot if I lived in the 'right country'.

Best regards from sunny Spain.

Twin pronged attack re' the seats chap.
1. Cutting down on the Strongbow and eating salads. (serious).
2. Paul Walker (seat fabricator) is pretty sure he can coax another inch or so across the top-of-the-back area where
the width, (lack of) was a problem. His wheeze is to get the seat hot, fresh from the mould, and 'sprag' it open a smidgen
(technical term) whilst applying further heat via a hairdryer or similar. The slow curing under spragging should allow the seat
adopt the modified shape as it cools. (That's the theory and Paul's pretty optimistic).

The thought of salads for the rest of my life isn't an appealing one, but hey! Who said buying a BEC at 63 was gonna be
a stroll in the park?
Stay loose.

Bob.

Good few posts today on bending fibreglass in the "bodywork" thread.
Seems like Paul was spot on with his proposed wheeze, according to Neville and a few others.

Regrettably, not too hot.
Danny finished 3rd in race 1. However, he stalled at the start of race 2 and got rear-ended by a Spire and a TR7.
Main thing is all the drivers were OK.

A real shame you were going so well by the looks of it, after the restart of the 1st race, starting from the pit lane, from last to 3rd in a 8 minute race
