Aeroscreen
-matt - 21/11/12 at 07:30 PM

Just wondering really, are aeroscreens worth it?/ make much of a difference?

My indy has no windscreen or aeroscreen, and even with gloves in this weather, my hands get rather cold from the wind.

So do they deflect the wind away quite well?, or are they more of a look thing?

i usually wear a lid, so my face isn't so much a problem.

If so, which is best? MK's? or get a westfield one ETC?

Cheers

A aeroscreen makes a big differenced, to be honest the MK screen is not that great in pushing air over your head, I went for the westfield screen on my first mk, top quality but not cheap

I would not like to have my indy without my aeroscreen and in my opinion the car looks better with it fitted

I've got a new MK one which I'm probably going to sell. It's never been on the car, no holes. Black gloss gelcoat. If you're interested?

I can recommend the mac 1 screen. Wasn't that cheap but It fits the Indy perfectly and looks good. It also more importantly works very well-hand temperature is no longer a problem for me, and I get less windnoise through my helmet as the airflow is smoother with it.

Even a full windscreen will get your hands cold.

Another recommendation for julians (aerodynamix) aeroscreen on an indy. Ours looks great - not driven with it yet though.
