New bits on order
smitht82 - 14/2/13 at 01:08 PM

We'll the cars rear brake light issues are now fixed, so i've bought her some new additions to help her stay planted more:

- Front MK Splitter
- MK Carbon Carnards
- Rear custom SA Fabrications Rear Diffuser

Also considering a Dynojet Quickshifter and Toyo R888's but am not 100% sure on these yet?

I'll get some pictures up once all the parts are here. Looking forward to our micro summer now :-)

The 888's would make a bigger improvement to handling than the rest put together.

The real reason for the splitters etc is that at 80-90mph (on my private track) the front end starts to become light due to the BEC not supplying much front end force. Hopefully this will help it alittle. Tyres will then be on the list, though my current set have plenty of life in them for now.

Are 888's really THAT good? I almost chose them with my wheels, but opted for the next ones down, the Proxes T1R, I think. I was told these were the essentially the more "road orientated" version of the track-based 888's, and a bit cheaper....

Next down would be toyo R1R.
Massive difference between T1R and R888..
Quite a difference in grip between R1R and R888
