first drive of my Indy
nick205 - 22/7/05 at 12:39 PM

Well,

It works I know cos' I drove it

As the video shows, we had a slight hiccup on the first run, with a loose clutch cable. Once that was sorted I gave it half a dozen runs up and down the lane, getting a bit quicker each time.

Nothing fell off and it sounded good too. Brakes are pretty sketchy, but then everything is new, so it needs to bed in a bit.

It's given me a massive boost to get it finished, now It's a real working car

Woooohooooo!

Nick

Well done that man.

Good video, like the quietness of the engine on your return trip

Fantastic, very well done, and what a lovely lane for test drives - iam well jealous on all counts. You spurred me on with that vid as well.

Doesnt look like much to do now to complete it - that is if you can stop driving it and stop grinning long enough!!
