Having passed the SVA, now I'm putting the finishing touches to my indy.
The big Sierra wheel has gone, replaced with a Mountney 13".
Next up is the double bubble aeroscreen that I bought off Welderman.
Anyone know the optimum angle for attaching it. If possible I'd like to still be able to see the road, but without the wind / flys / stones in
the eyes thing.
I already have four holes in the scuttle (from the mirrors) so I'd rather re-use them, bolting the sides on and using silkaflex across the front
edge.
Cheers Mike
mike, if you lay it on the scuttle panel it will only really fit one way you don't get a massive amount of adjustment if you want it to fit flush
in all the places it should.
also it won't really stop the wind hitting you in the face i've found more with mine it just stops it blasting the chest and neck area. then
again could be my height having something to do with that i guess for a midget it might work better!
Good news on your pass mate, can't help you on the fitting of the bubble screen as you bought it off me.
See you one day at a meet somewhere.
