This is my first post so please be gentle!!!
I'm looking to build my first car and have almost decided on a MK Indy. The problem I have is that I am quite restricted on room. Does anyone
know what the overall length and width is?
cheers

Thanks for the response James.
I'm based in Birmingham. I went to the Kit Car show on Saturday and got blown away with the standard of the cars there!!!
What is the 'book' that everybody refers too? (Embarassed at how little I know!!!)
What engine will be putting in? I was alos at the Newark show with my Indy Blade.
It was the yellow car on the Mk Stand on saturday (the one covered in flies)
Jim
Leew,
From a previous thread - http://forum.locostbuilders.co.uk/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=2053
My Indy dimensions are:
3260mm nose to tail
1680mm across the rear arches
1650mm across the cycle wings
1050mm o'ert roll bar
I can thoroughly recommend the Indy, go on you know it makes sense.
Cheers,
Colin

leew,
Your welcome to come and see mine I'm in south brum
Jim, its really early days at the moment. Just trying to get a fell what is involved.
MK9R,
Where about are you based in south brum??? I live in Rednal, at the bottom of the Lickey Hills.
We are buiding the car in Belbroughton at my old mans house, so about 5 minutes from you.
Before people comment on the amusing place name (Lickey Hills), my parents live at Bell End!
LOL!
Note to self, be careful what you post
MK9R - i might take you up on that offer.
Hope the build is starting well!
I am currently building a GT1 (slowly!) in Rubery, near Safeway),
(Apologies for those not from south Brum if you're getting bored with all the local references!)
and a mate of mine is building a Pinto-Indy over in Redditch. We should all compare notes.
Adam.
Maybe we should meet up for a south Brum mini meet?
Leew, you can now compare a car engine to a BEC MK within a few miles of your house, although none of them are finished!

There must be something in the south brum water!!!
A mini meet sounds like a good idea.
Adam If possible it would be appriciated if you could arrange for me to see your mates project with the pinto engine. I'm trying to decide
what engine to use.
cheers
Lee
