i'm after some advice please,
when turning quick in on say a rounderbout with or with out breaking the front tyres loose grip,
in the past with other cars i have been used brakeing into bends and loosing traction on the rear end giving me total control over the steering, and
powering out, basically being able to slide in and power slide out, but i can't do it in this mk
and was wandering if anyone else has this or if i can adjust the front end or rear to give me more control and grip on front end,
also trying to brake hard into a corner sends me straight on very easley,
any advice would be great, thanks
When your car was built, was it weighed and balanced and things like battery positioned so that it had near perfect weight distribution?
May not be the problem but its all i can think of.
I know what you mean, i can powerslide my tintop out of some of the roundabouts near me

yeah i can power slide ok but its on the turn in the problem lies,
Sounds like the front end needs to be softened up a little. What wheel/tyre size and pressure are you running. As a start point for a CEC you might
want to try between 16-18 PSI for the front. Semms very low I know, but then there's very little weight overall.
Next up is toe in/out - there's many opinions on this, but FWIW I run a total of 1 degree toe in across the front axle.
You have the new spec R chassis,I am sure your particular car is fitted with 350lb front springs,I have found them a bit too hard for the car,I have changed my front springs now to 275lbs,to improve understeer.Have a word with MK to send you some to try I am sure you will notice a difference,Just to add I only notice the extra understeer during aggresive winter driving,so a combination of cold weather,cold R888 tyres won't be helping.
