Engine upgrade

I know I have asked a similar question in the past, so don't shout at me, if anyone can answer any of these questions I would be grateful.

I have a MK Indy with 1993 Fireblade engine (893cc) (carbs), looking at buying a 2004 - 2008 (998cc) Blade Engine with all injection and ignition (another 50BHP more and cheaper than Busa), does anyone know if the exhaust manifold will bolt straight on from the 93 engine? I expect I will have to mod it to take a sensor, but will it line up? Also are the engine mounts in the same position? Apart from rewiring it and doing a fuel return to the fuel tank is there anything else I need to consider?

Oh dear, not the answer I was hoping for, I guess it could be plan B sell it and buy something else. Cheers Jason

This is the easier option but it's touch and go on the money front. Having just gone through an engine conversion the parts alone came to well over 2k when everything is taken into consideration. This is mitigated by the fact you can sell the existing setup. I got 700 for the blade BEC package. Good injection cars are at the 8k mark so by my maths you'd need ~6.5k for the blade.
