I was wondering if someone here could tell me if the engine mounts for a Vauxhall C20XE and 1.8 Manta/Carlton box are "off the shelf'' at MK. Can I order an Indy with these mounts? Or do they have to be custom made?!?!?

your best option is to call mk and they'll tell you.

If MK don't have them don't worry too much. This was a major concern I had but I got the engine and gearbox in the chassis on blocks, made some pattern mounts out of modeling ply and had them fabricated.

I have known of indy's with 20xe's in them, not sure whether mk made the mounts or the kit buyer/builders. Give Martin a ring...
