Can anyone help on the Avon wiring?
I am having trouble finding the master cylinder brake connecters?
Is there any in the wiring as the book says nothing??
If so what dose it light up when on low levels?
As there must be some warning light for SVA?
Thank for any info

I assume it's the Tiger wiring loom?

All you do is take a wire from one of the side connectors on the master cylinder to earth and the other to the warning light on the dash to the same side as the hand brake warning light switch (if that makes sense) so that either the handbrake or the sensor turns on the warning light.

yes your right it's the avon wiring loom from tiger
is this what you have to do to all tiger looms even you cat??

if you have the Tiger loom (same as the Cat loom - think they call it a 6 fuse loom?) then there is an excellent spreadsheet around somewhere that gives all the wiring colour codes... first thing i did was to sit down and label the entire loom... just to find that tiger sometimes change a couple of colours if they run-out!!!!
makes it easier to work out though

have a look here:

Even on a super 6 you have to do that, and do not foget the tell tale to the fog light.

i used a alarm led wired into the live feed out of the fog light switch, you could do as tiger say and wire the illuminated light back into switch, but this means the switch does not light up when you turn on the lights, i would prefer the seperate tell tale light.

from memory, there are two green wires on their own branch with spade connectors. To find them, locate the main branch that connect to steering column and go back down the loom. If you lay it onto the car in the approximate position, most things fall into place. I'll confirm tonite when I get home from work.

As has already been said yes I had to wire my Cat like that as they all have the same loom. While you're at it don't forget that the side repeaters for the indicators need to be "picked up" from the dash warning lights, I mounted my repeaters on the side of the scuttle rather than further down on the side of the car as Tiger suggest.

I hope this helps.

There should be a push test button on the top of the brake master cylinder. You will need to connect the wires from this to your loom / low fluid indicator. SVA will push this button to test you have a low warning indicator and expect the light to glow. Thats wot they did on mine anyhow.

I have a Tiger Cat E1, and think the loom will b the same. If your not sorted yet let me know and I'll find out for u.
