Ok so I know I'm going to get a huge backlash here but.......

For simplicity/ease/cost

what is the BEST donor for my planned Tiger Avon?

I'm currently thinking a 2l pinto sierra (non injection) about '88 - opinions please.............

That would be the one, any Pinto engine sierra with drum brakes and without injection is going to be the simplest build, changing the engine or rear brakes to discs is going to complicate things a little,

If you want an easy build perhaps the Avon is not the best option, don't know about the cat, haven't had any experiance with one.

To fit 2L rear drums on the rear uprights, you have to grind a couple of corners off. 1.6L ones are a little smaller = lighter, and fit straight on. Other than that, perfect!

I've had a few problems, but don't be put off, there are not many (if any) kits that just drop together
