Stunning looking car, probably one of the best looking Avons i have seen

coozer - 13/3/08 at 09:31 AM

The pointing looks a bit dodgy

Nice car tho, well done lad!

Steve

yep - t hat does look smart.

you have SVA in Belgium?

I am guessing that the rear fog lamp may be too low; aslo you need to strighten out those indicator stalks.

Pdlewis - 13/3/08 at 09:41 AM

Thats sweeeeet I love the nose and the rear defuser type thing really nice

DaveFJ - 13/3/08 at 10:08 AM

Damn! another benchmark has been set!

Awesome looking car! As an Avon builder I can see how much you have changed it in all the little subtle ways as well as some pretty obvious ones.. love the nose and the side pods. Rear ?diffuser? looks great. Seat are bizzare but cool...

Well done!

So.. Are you going to make the trip across the channel for Stoneliegh? PLEASE!

ravingfool - 13/3/08 at 10:12 AM

Beautiful!

JacksAvon - 13/3/08 at 10:31 AM

best looking Avon I have seen, good job

MikeR - 13/3/08 at 11:18 AM

Stunning - although i think you've made a bit of a fundemental mistake. You've put the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Humbug - 13/3/08 at 12:02 PM

Fantastic-looking car - did you use any Avon panels at all?

I particularly like:

the nose (where from...?)

fuel filler on top of the rear arch

seats

rear lights

rear diffuser thing

+ do I spy a carbon fibre screen surround?

Magic looking, love the carbon windscreen pilers

TimC - 13/3/08 at 12:52 PM

Wow - well done!

AdamR - 13/3/08 at 01:05 PM

So how did you get hold of the Donkervoort bodywork?

...and can you get some for me?

tim windmill - 13/3/08 at 01:13 PM

stunning job, just goes to show whatever kit you buy put in the time and effort and attention to detail and be prepared to spend money what can be achieved. Top class job and as said previous that has raised the bar another notch. Well done.

Mr Whippy - 13/3/08 at 01:16 PM

first class car

Rudy - 13/3/08 at 04:01 PM

Reaaly great !!!
I love that car !!!
Is it a Pollini kit ?
I love everithing of your car but rear side indicator

Avoneer - 13/3/08 at 05:45 PM

How much is actually Tiger?

The nose, bonnet and scuttle aren't.

Separate rear wings?

Different front wheel arches.

Hmmm,

Front shockers are though and still look like Tiger are supplying the wrong ones that rest on the bump stops when bones are parallel to the ground.

Pat...

soggy 3 - 13/3/08 at 10:07 PM

WOW, i thought i made some changes but that looks like a compleatly different car!
I second the stonleigh visit it would be great to get a closer look, it has so many clever touches

I really like the Donkervoort-look. That side-indicator is also on the D8. I don't like it either, it's placed wrongly a side indicator, maybe you could use it as sidemarking? I was looking for the site from this Belgium replica, but couldn't find it.

Are they expensive?
