Is the standard bike (ZZR1100) fuel pump up to the job of pumping petrol from the tank (in the front) to the engine (in the back)?
Would it need to be at the tank end of the pipe or t'other?
Bearing in mind that it's carbs not injection..............
Cheers!

doubt it very much considering the completely different tank location, my little old CG125 doesn't even have a pump
at the tank end its got more push than suck! in principal no different to a 7 with tank in back and engine in front
Yes, no problem, even if it is carbed. IIRC, the pumps prefer to push fuel, so I'd say put it close to the tank, level with the bottom.

Wot Phil said.
(Assuming you are using the ZZR pump to feed ZZR carbs!)
Down low, near the tank, preferably gravity fed, then pressured line all the way to the carbs.
Good luck

Thanks all!
Guinness, how's your GPZ sump coping?
The GPZ sump mod is fine (now I have sorted out the oiling).
Basically although the GPZ sump is a direct physical swap for the ZZR sump, the connections for the oilways are slightly different.
(But don't ask me how!)
So where you have the hoses to and from the oil cooler and to the head / gearbox need careful checking. I got it wrong once and killed an engine.
P.S. watch out for wear in the external hoses, as one of my old ones split, so I had to get them all made up new!
