cooling

Has anyone got a sketch or layout or even a pic or two of a suitable cooling system for a ZX10r, rear mounted, either using the original rad or an aftermarket type.

The position for the rad would have to be side mounted or located to the left or right of the engine as there are ducts that blow into that area.

There is no opening at the front clip to duct air.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Here's how I plumbed in the cooling system on my Mac#1, it's not rear mounted like you're after but it gives you an idea. If you just ignore the turbo cooling, as I removed the standard oil cooler and used the water for the turbo instead, it would work the same for your car.

I'm using an aftermarket radiator and also wanted to use a header tank instead of expansion tank, I fitted a non pressure release cap to the radiator and a pressure release one to the header tank.

The header tank needs to be slightly higher than the radiator to allow any air in the radiator to make it's way to the header tank.

Hope this helps
