Lol... like my trike! The bank is burst, so I will have to wait for funds to re-accumulate! Who knows... I just might be able to do something with it this time next year!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great project - no doubt scare some of the local boy-racers.
Toothbrush and some Harpic Power Plus is called for I reckon - for the engine ali. I mean (don't know what it would do the the gnashers but
reckon it wouldn't taste very nice?).
Cheers, Pewe

Looking good Ivan - how far off drivable is it (if only for a car park run)?
Everything still to do...
And lots of questions no doubt for the experienced locosters able & willing to help me.
Why the change from the transfer box? It was looking like a cheap alternative
Cheers

While the Locost solution from Nat & Cal was always looking like it would work, there was still a fair amount of related stuff to fettle. The
drive cup/shaft was going to need a nice hard one piece driveshaft made, and a reverse gear solution was also required.
The Quaife Powertec has always been a " I want one" but the high price, and rarity of affordable used ones left few other solutions to a lsd
rear axle within my budget....
Until the change of MSA regs which lead to the demise of BEC rally cars, so MydT9 on here sold off the Powertec which is now mine.
Not only was it affordable, but Myds car ran a Blackbird engine, so it came with a suitable cush drive, solved the reverse gear issue as it already
has one, and came with a spare gearset & Berrisford driveshafts.
And its lighter ...
